The party hears the pitch from the Lizardfolk and attempts to communicate with the bullywugs. They are still torn on what side, if any, to pick. During the night each member had fitful sleep with some experiencing full blown visions for dreams. All members either took psychic damage and/or suffered from a headache. Sariel and Seebo were able to discern that this was very similar to the psychic energy they encountered from the otyugh on the night Sylla disappeared in Phandalin. Unable to pick a side, the party stood aside when the fighting broke out but attempted to utilize the distracting chaos to find Pharblex. During the ensuing actions the party witnessed Rezmir and Azbara sneak away into the food hall behind a line of protective guards.
Eventually, with the Lizardfolk turning the tide and chasing the bullywugs into the swamps, the party all found themselves in the dungeon caverns of the castle. With some smart tracking by Groz the party discovered a teleportation circle in the far reaches of the caverns. With 2 routes in front of them and a party split between wanting to find bullywug eggs and general exploration, they went separate ways. Half the party stumbled into Pharblex’s shrine room where he and 10 bullywugs were waiting. The other half started to explore the underground lake where they saw a giant frog croak and then jump into the water followed by numerous other plashes.
