After investigating the Woodland Manse for most of its secrets (cloak, staff, rod, and dust all collected), the party continued north in pursuit of the druids that fled. They encountered 3 anchorites of Talos and Gorthok the Thunder Boar at what would become known as the Circle of Thunder. Even though heavily exhausted and Lucius fell unconscious once, the party prevailed. They discovered a shield and a potion of unknown effect.
Returning to Phandalin via Falcon’s destroyed lodge, they realize how bad the dragon threat is in the area. Turning their attention to Icespire Peak they choose to deal with the dragon directly rather than attempt to protect the region piecemeal. At the base of the mountain they encounter a small caravan off the main roads hoping to avoid the attention of the dragon. We leave Tobin’s Revenge in sight of the hold fortress and the roar of a dragon.
